Youth & Young Adult Ministries

Youth Group

High School Youth Group is for students in grades 9-12 to gather together and develop friendships, have fun together and most importantly, to learn more about who God is and how we can better serve Him in our church and in our communities. We meet in the fellowship hall at church every other Sunday afternoon at 4:30PM from August-May. We begin each meeting with snacks and fellowship, then enter into our time of study and discussion and we end by playing a game or doing a fun activity together. This year we will be reading and discussing the book When Trouble Comes by Phil Ryken. Everyone will walk through difficulties in life, and through this book and our discussions, we hope to learn how to come alongside our friends and neighbors who are struggling and encourage them and point them to Christ. In January, we will begin a new study on the book and DVD series Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper.

Youth Group meets at church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 4:30 – 5:45 PM during the school year.

Junior High Youth Group

The Junior High Youth Group is an opportunity for all students in 7th and 8th grades to join together for a time of learning more about the God we serve and having a lot of fun together. We meet every other week on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. This year we will be studying the book Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God by Francis Chan. Through this study our goal is to challenge the young people with the concept that the Creator God of the universe loves them with a radical, self-sacrificing love and our response to that love should be just as radical and life-changing.

Jr. High Youth Group meets at church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 4:30 – 5:45 PM during the school year.
